About Oz Otter
Oz Otter is the star of the Oz Otter Cub Photographer children’s book series — a collection of fun, read-aloud adventures for ages 3–7. Curious, kind, and full of imagination, Oz is a young otter cub who works as a photographer for The Couch Chronicle, the friendliest little newspaper in the riverside town of Otterville. With his camera always ready, Oz sets out on exciting photo-taking adventures that inspire children to look, listen, and learn about the world around them.
Each Oz Otter book invites children to join him on a themed assignment — from seaside trips and countryside walks to school days, birthday parties, and Halloween nights. Every page features rhyming clues and guessing games that make reading interactive and fun. Children can help Oz solve each riddle, discover hidden answers under flaps, and build confidence through play and curiosity.
At home, Oz lives with his caring parents, Clara and Samuel, and his cheeky siblings, Toby and Milly. His editor, Mr. Jasper Penfold, keeps him busy with new challenges and photo stories for The Couch Chronicle. Together, they bring to life a gentle, imaginative world filled with laughter, learning, and love.
